We are driven by a desire to make relevant work that just might also help protect our planet. loam project (lp) provides a hub for artists, designers, innovators, engineers and makers who can use the platform in a variety of ways, including the production, promotion and sale of their work. We are dedicated to working with sustainable materials, and creating sustainable performances, products and services.

how do we do this?

lp promotes and supports collaborators through profiling their work and by offering funding and business advice, to enable future growth. We are experienced in funding bids and running small businesses and understand the barriers that entreprenuers may face.

what do we do?

Writers who work within the lp platform develop work that is inspired by local events and collaborate with locally based professional artists, directors and designers. Makers of lifestyle goods and interior designers work with sustainable materials sourced locally. Innovators use sustainable production methods and materials on products and projects that can bring about positive change, and contribute to a circular economy.

Loam soil with its combination of sand, silt and clay provides a nourishing ecosystem, and its use as the name of our organisation represents the strong foundations from which we hope good ideas can grow. lp has been formed to bring together artists, designers and makers in the knowledge that we can share our ideas in a positive environment, bound by a common ethos, unafraid to try and grow something new.
